Can I check-in in the evening?

Yes, you are free to check-in any time after 3pm since check-in is virtual. You will be provided with a code to access the key at a time convenient to you.

Where can I park my car?

There is paid parking in the 24 hour NCP multi-storey carpark on Nunns Road, Colchester, CO1 1EJ which is just 2 mins walk away. Evening rates start at 5pm and the price drops significantly for overnight stay.

There is also limited free parking available on St. Peter’s street and other side streets after 6pm and at the weekend on a single yellow line or in permit spaces -please check signs for details. If you are staying for 14 days or longer we can organise a parking permit for you at a reduced fee.

How can I travel around Colchester?

Train: the nearest station is Colchester station which is a 15 min walk from the property or a short taxi ride. Colchester is serviced by Greater Anglia with regular trains into London and the Essex Coast.

Bus: The Travel Essex Saver ticket allows users unlimited same day travel on every registered local bus service within Colchester. You can buy the ticket on the first bus you board. It is not available as a weekly or monthly ticket and it cannot be purchased online.

DigiGo: DigiGo is a shared public transport service which offers on-demand or pre-bookable travel in Colchester. There is no fixed route or timetable, a journey can be booked to travel on-demand or up to 7 days in advance via the Travel Essex App.
